Ya, so the next NFS game is coming out November 18th. while I don’t have a lot of details on this right now, but from reading about it, i think its gonna be like most wanted.

what we do know so far: EA officially announced Need for Speed Undercover for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Nintendo DS, PC, and mobile devices. True to Riccitiello’s word, the street racer will feature a number of live-action cutscene sequences, and the publisher has secured the talents of starlet Maggie Q (Balls of Fury, Mission Impossible III) to lead its efforts. Ms. Q will play the role of Agent Chase Linh, who oversees players as they infiltrate the underground racing scene to upend an international crime syndicate

Everyone loves custom t-shirts, it allows you to wear your style literally!! That’s why when I went across the VistaPrint I fell in love with that place! They give you so many options to choose from and its great!! You can choose your t-shirt color, you can choose from their wide range on designs OR you can even upload your own design!! Well this settles it…I’m finally getting my Superman t-shirt made :)

Anyway, having said that, vista print, gives you an amazing experience when you’re creating your custom t-shirts online. When I ordered my t-shirt and received it, I was stunned by the print quality!! and all for just $13!! If you order in bulk, it goes all the way down to $9!! I was also impressed by their other services - logo desings, website design, Caricature Design and a whole lot more.

The one thing i really loved about vista print in the quality of the t-shirts too! top notch if you ask me. I do know most places where the prints are really good, but the quality of their t-shirts they sell are really bad! But not vista print! You know custom t-shirts make such great gifts…I can create gifts for mom, dad, sisters, bros, gramps and grandma and so on, customizing each of them to their tastes and preferences.

so what are you waiting for?? head on over there right now!!

So the Druid has finally come to need a new monitor (does this even sound right?) I was thinking about the Dell 22″ HDMI variant. Do let me know your thoughts on this…

This way I can also connect my 360 and ps3 to the monitor. Do any other brands come in mind? I’m not sure about Samsung and HP, but i’ve heard a lot of good things. The only downside I see to the dell monitor is that its not 1080p ready.

After months of rumors and clamoring from PC gamers, Rockstar Games has finally made it official: their best-selling console title Grand Theft Auto IV is headed to the PC on November 18th in North America and November 21st in Europe.

In the press statement Founder of Rockstar Games Sam Houser was quoted as saying, “We are very excited to be releasing the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV. The whole team is dedicated to bringing an amazing gaming experience to the PC. The game looks and plays beautifully on PC and we can’t wait for people to play it.

This should come as no surprise really, considering all the other GTA titles - except for the hand-held versions Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories - eventually made their way to the PC platform. But in the media blitz surrounding the initial release of Grand Theft Auto IV in April on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, Rockstar Games was decidedly tight-lipped about even the possibility of a PC version.

Very few details are available about the PC version of GTA IV, but the press release did contain an interesting snippet in the paragraph on the game’s features saying “…and newly expanded multiplayer just for the PC.” Now I wonder what this will hold in store :)

Questions regarding other common PC platform considerations like digital distribution, copy protection, system requirements, mod tools, map editors, DX 10 support and integration with Games for Windows - Live were all deftly deflected by representatives from Rockstar public relations. However, the issue regarding copy protection has to be first and foremost in the mind of Take Two Interactive, publisher of Grand Theft Auto IV. Game piracy is one of the major concerns for any company looking to publish games on the PC.

So stay tuned and wait for us as we bring you more juice on this

So what did the Dark Knight turn out like? hmm? Sit down and I’ll tell you a tale like none you have heard before.

Ok so much for the Prince of Persia reference…but that was the hype built around the Dark Knight. was it great? Sure. Was the Joker awesome? you bet! So what do we rate it? 7/10. WHY? Well here goes.

Starting at the top. The Batman. What happened to him? What happened to his voice. After this, in my opinion, Christian Bale is by far the WORST Batman to hit the screen. Yeah, even Clooney edged him out on this. I just think he tried TOO hard to play the role..just too hard. I also wonder why they showed him so much in the light. The whole concept of Dark Knight, was kinda lost, when they featured his rubber suit in the light. OR maybe they’re making references to his suit color? I dunno, either way, there was too much Batman in the light and no enought in the Darkness. Don’t get me wrong, there were some AWESOME moments with the Batman too, both in the Dark and in the Light. :P

Next: The Joker - In one word - SUPERB! I cannot emphasise how fantastic Heath Ledger was. He was every bit as good as Jack Nicholson, if not better. From the very first scene with the bank robbery to the last scene with the ships, Joker’s role has been nothing short of Stunning! If you watch the movie again, play special attention to his dialogue in the Ship and with Dent. Joker’s role overshadowed everyone in the movie and I’m glad it did.

Harvey Dent/Two Face - Ok this I never expected but he was awesome!! The stage by stage transformation from Dent to Two Face was brilliantly portrayed. I would have thought they would mess this up, but it was pulled off very well.

Gordan/Rachel - Gordan played out perfect - his growth from Lieutenant to Commissioner was also well done. Not great…but good enough to create a few surprises. Rachel; played byMaggie Gyllenhaal was HORRIBLE - She’s old, fat and ugly. Not HOT. nuff said. Wonder what happend to Katie Holmes? Oh yea she got knocked up.

Overall - Well I would have thought they were trying to do too much all in once, but it was managed well enough in the end. The best Characters in the movie were The Joker and Two Face. Overall it was a good movie, but NOT worthy of the BEST MAN MOVIE EVER.

It’s official: Activision Inc. and Vivendi Games are now defunct nomenclature. After shareholders handily signed off on the merger at a meeting yesterday, French megacorp Vivendi SA and Activision said today that they had completed the transaction to create Activision Blizzard. The newly formed company will retain Activision’s current headquarters in Santa Monica, California.

“We have created the world leader in online and console games with this transaction, and the combined strengths of the two businesses offer immense growth potential,” gushed Vivendi SA CEO Jean-Bernard Levy. “I am also very confident that, with the new leadership team in place, the new entity is perfectly positioned to take advantage of these rapidly developing markets across the globe.”

Former top Activision man and newly installed Activision Blizzard president and CEO Robert Kotick issued an equally glowing statement, vaunting the publisher’s prime position in the console and online PC space. “With more than 10.7 million subscribers on World of Warcraft, and with tens of millions of people playing Guitar Hero, Activision Blizzard’s games are transcending the traditional stereotypes and are more popular as a form of entertainment than ever before,” he said. “We look forward to building upon our brands to create value for our shareholders, customers, and consumers.”

With the merger now closed, Activision Blizzard is expected to surpass publishing kingpin Electronic Arts as the world’s most lucrative third-party game-software publisher. As per today’s announcement, the business combination brings together a number of top-selling franchises under one roof. Considering statistics from a variety of global stat-tracking organizations, those number-one ranked brands include Guitar Hero for family entertainment and music-based gaming, World of Warcraft in subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing games, Spider-Man in superhero games, Tony Hawk in the action sports genre, Cabela’s in sports hunting, and Call of Duty in first-person action.

As per the original terms of the deal first announced in December, Vivendi SA has contributed the entirety of its Vivendi Games subdivision–worth $8.1 billion–as well as $1.7 billion to acquire a 52 percent controlling stake in Activision Blizzard. The French megacorp will in the next few days attempt to expand its hold to a possible 68 percent through a $4 billion all-cash tender offer, made to current Activision shareholders at the agreed-upon price of $27.50 per share.

Although that buyout offer was a handsome premium on Activision’s approximately $21-per-share sticker price in December, it is unlikely that Vivendi will find many takers in the present. Activision’s stock has maintained a steady climb since the merger was initially announced, and as of press time today, the publisher’s stock was trading in excess of $32 on the NASDAQ exchange. Activision Blizzard will continue to operate as a publicly traded company on NASDAQ under the ATVI ticker symbol after the merger.

Its been such a long time since have taken a crack at any of the DMC series and well it had to be on the PC. It’s almost such a perfect game for the PC, I wish other game makes would bring out their consoles :)

anyway, this is a short review cuz, Ryan is still playing with it and he’ll make edits to this post once he’s done… Graphics - 8 (huge difference between DX 9 and DX 10), Gameplay - well its just AWESOME!

Now the downside…it’s all too easy. Even in difficult mode. :(
